Bump stops (rubber bumpers) are like sponge and limit the rod stroke, when the shock absorber is fully compressed, so they protect the parts of the absorber and soften the hits affecting the car body from the wheel. Masuma bump stops are produced of urethane closed-cell foam, which is a soft and durable polymer and effectively dampens shocks and vibrations.
